Early Childhood & Preschool Music in the Virtual Setting

From: $58.00

Join board-certified music therapist Rachel Rambach as she shares the 11 weekly virtual music sessions she created and provided for children ages 0-5 throughout Spring 2020.

Each session contains 11-12 songs (a mix of originals, covers and adaptations) in a cohesive, goal-based 30-45 minute video, along with the accompanying lyrics/chords.

Use or adapt these sessions for your own virtual and/or recorded offerings, and continue to apply these materials when you are once again able to provide in-person early childhood & preschool music therapy, enrichment, and/or education.

This resource is available as a continuing education course (pre-approved by CBMT for 8 CMTE credits) or simply for the content.

Both options include permanent access to all 11 videos, song packets, and additional guidance for leading early childhood & preschool music classes/sessions via Zoom.

Description

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Music Therapy Connections, LLC quickly transitioned all music therapy services and offerings to the virtual setting. This included group early childhood and preschool classes, which were conducted each week via Zoom.

Over an 11-week period, we created 11 comprehensive music sessions (typically 35-45 minutes in length) that were designed for children ages 0-5. These sessions utilize instruments children can either create or adapt at home, as well as objects they most likely have on hand. The sessions were designed for maximum engagement while addressing many of the same goals that would be targeted in person.

In this course, you will receive access to all 11 of these tried-and-true sessions, including not only the full-length videos, but also the lyrics and chords for the songs that are used. You will also receive guidance when it comes to providing services to young children virtually.

Our number one priority at Music Therapy Connections, LLC is the safety of our students, clients, and families, which is why on-ground group offerings will likely not resume for some time. That said, all of these resources can easily be translated to the in-person setting when that becomes an option.
