Description

When one of my colleagues found some plastic mini cupcakes and had the idea to turn them into shakers, I knew that called for a song! How could I not, when “cupcake” rhymes with “shake”?! I can’t wait to put this fun tune into action along with her DIY cupcake shakers, which are filled with beans and hot-glued back together.

As with many of my other shaker songs, I’ll use this one to target such goals as following directions, directional awareness, and gross motor movement. It will be a refreshing change of pace from our usual shaking instruments!
