Description
One fun activity to do during the snowy winter is to build snowmen. They are great to play with throughout the cold weather, but, when the sun comes out, they will melt away…let’s count each snowman before they melt away, too!
“Five Little Snowmen” provides opportunities to address these objectives:
- Increase ability to count objects
- Improve critical listening skills
- Increase ability to follow clearly stated directions
- Improve ability to subtract
As an art extension, children can make their own indoor snowmen out of cotton balls or construction paper.
