We’ll be taking the train at the end of music with this song! Pretend to blow the train whistle with a “toot toot” as we get ready to head out the door. It’s time for our “Goodbye Train” to leave music time, but we’ll see you again soon!
“Goodbye Train” provides opportunities to address these objectives:
- Improve ability to say goodbye to peers
- Increase verbalization skills
- Improve ability to transition
- Increase ability to follow directions
Further your students’ ability to follow directions by forming a “train” with you as the engine, and all of the children lined up behind you. Move around the circle as you sing the chorus!
