How many times have you asked a child to do something, and he or she responds with the word “help”? But what that child doesn’t often realize is that he or she is completely capable of completing that task completely on his or her own.

That’s what this song is all about: empowering children to do things all by themselves. But I wanted to emphasize that asking for help is okay too, as long as the child at least tries something independently first.
