Do you know how baby dinosaurs were born? They were hatched from eggs, just like birds! In “Dinosaur Hatching” we are going to pretend to be baby dinosaurs who are about to hatch! Listen carefully for the end of the song. That’s how we’ll know it’s time to pop out of our shell!

This song is very versatile. We can use scarves and cover our heads like an egg shell! If you have dinosaur finger puppets, cover it with your hand. If you do not have access to props, have participant(s) get down on the ground and put their hands over their head as if they were an egg. When the end of the song comes, all of the dinosaurs will hatch!
