Description
Fall is truly one of the prettiest seasons! All of the leaves changing colors is a beautiful sight to see, but they can come falling down with one “whoosh” of cold fall air. Help me count the leaves hanging on the tree before they fall to the ground!
“Five Little Leaves” provides opportunities to address these objectives:
- Increase ability to count objects
- Improve critical listening skills
- Increase ability to follow clearly stated directions
- Improve ability to subtract
This song can be easily adapted according to the needs of your participant(s)! For beginning counters, decrease the goal number to 3. For more advanced counters, increase the goal number as needed and/or modify lyrics to subtract more than one leaf at a time.
