Description
For many children, making friends is not an easy task. Social skills have always been a focus of my music therapy groups and classes, and it was a group of students for whom I originally wrote this song.
We approached the topic of making friends from a practical perspective, by breaking it down into simple steps. This song introduces those basic steps in the process, serves as a reminder of the importance of having friends, and is a great springboard for discussion and role-playing initiating new friendships.
