My favorite songs and adaptations are those inspired by my own students and clients. This particular one came about after one of my kiddos specifically requested that I include the ukulele in our holiday-themed class session.
Of course, “Mele Kalikimaka” is the quintessential ukulele song of the holiday season, so I couldn’t resist putting my own spin on the wonderful original. This version combines the chorus we all know and love with new lyrics designed to give children the opportunity to strum the ukulele.
