“Round the Rainbow” ticks all three of these boxes, which makes it a great song to add to any group session or class.

I wrote this one specifically for use in my early childhood classes using either a parachute or stretchy band, though you could also substitute with colorful scarves or streamers.

We sing about each color, giving every student the opportunity to identify the color of the prop he or she is holding, while also working as a group to move in a circle.
