Description

After I wrote my original “Shaky Fruit” song and saw the response it got from my students time and time again, I knew I had to write a follow-up. “Shaky Fruit Salad” employs the always popular fruit shakers, and this time incorporates even more directional playing.

I love using this song in a group setting to encourage following directions and social interaction as well. One of my favorites ways to use this song is by bringing out the parachute, which I call our “fruit bowl” — and then place the shaky fruit on top. As all of my students shake the parachute, the shakers go flying all over the top of it…therefore creating our very own shaky fruit salad!
