You don’t come across many songs for kids in minor keys, so I like to write one every once in a while just to shake things up. “Tam Tam Boo” has a funny title and an unexpected sound, which makes it more memorable than many other tambourine songs.

This tune also provides opportunities to follow directions by playing the tambourine different ways. It’s an invitation for you and your students to get your creative juices flowing and think of even more ways to shake that tambourine!
