Description

Here’s a twist on a traditional favorite! When introducing very well-known songs to my students and clients, I like to do so in their original form at first whenever possible. Once they have heard the melody and the original lyrics, I then present my adapted lyrics, which in this song are related to playing drums.

This adaptation addresses the concepts of playing loudly and softly as well as following directions. Of course, you have the freedom to change the lyrics as needed when using different instruments, or to focus on other concepts such as slow and fast. Have fun and be creative!
