Description

When I set out to write a mash-up of songs all about rain, I realized there were wayyy more than I could possibly include in a single song. So I chose the ones I thought would be most recognizable and singable by my little students and their families, and ended up with “Shakin’ in the Rain”.

This song pairs nicely with small chiquitas, bigger maracas, or even a rainstick passed around depending on my session or group.

What “rain” songs am I missing in this little mash-up? I’m thinking I may need to write a follow-up to the original. After all, you can never have enough shaker songs!
