Description
This is one of my favorite “hello” songs to sing both in music therapy sessions and in groups. Not only is it peppy and cheerful, but it also encourages children to smile and wave.
And as you might have guessed from the title, this song also encourages sharing — an important part of any group or music class. We pass instruments, take turns strumming the guitar, and give everyone an opportunity in the spotlight, all of which require patience from our little friends.
Starting our music-making with “Time to Share” is a good way to prepare everyone for a harmonious and friendly session.
